Metro Design Consultants Using Kiva To Empower Entrepreneurs
Metro Design Consultants is launching a team lending fund with Kiva to provide support to entrepreneurs worldwide.

London (PRWEB UK) 17 July 2012 – Daniel Taylor, Managing Director of Metro Design Consultants, a leading London design and build firm, will be launching a team lending fund with Kiva the world’s largest micro finance non-profit organization, with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs and various initiatives worldwide.
Metro Design Consultants, which is the funding team listed in the Kiva community business group category, will be captained by Mr Daniel Taylor who said “I’m delighted to be partnering with Kiva, many of the funding categories within the Kiva Organisation are areas of great interest to me personally, agriculture construction and youth entrepreneurship.”
Metro Design Consultants lending team will be launched on 5th August 2012, to coincide with Jamaican independence day which Metro design Managing Director Daniel Taylor said “it would be fitting as many Jamaicans, like his father who first arrived back in the early 1940s and 1950s, would have engaged In similar micro lending schemes called pardners to use as deposits for getting on the property ladder.”
Since Kiva’s inception in 2005 the organization has loaned over 325 Million dollars, in over 61 different countries to a diverse range of global projects, the borrowing structure of Kiva often means that many people’s lives can be impacted for lending as little as $25.
Whether it is a family run business in rural Kosovo who needs a loan to buy a new cement machine or construction material or an agricultural farmer in El Salvador who needs to borrow money for seeds fertiliser and insecticides, giving a helping hand to these families can give hope now and for future generations to come.
Daniel and Metro Design Management team will be looking to become ambassadors for Kiva over the next 12 months, they intend to hold a series edutainment based events to raise funds and awareness with the view of eliminating poverty in developing countries globally.
